Commencement (Beginnings)
I keep going back in time now...
Over two years ago now...
And posing the same questions to myself over and over again.
How did this mess really begin?
And when?
At what point in my relationship (which, from this time forward, will be referred to as "realationship") with my once-cherished and always-adored Scotsman/Husband become damaged and compromised enough as to allow the Frenchman/Clown/Lover entry and to destroy what we had so lovingly constructed together over the years?
Why did I turn my head in another direction..and once again....towards the North?
I seem to have always had a weakness for men residing in chillier climates.
They never leave me cold but they do eventually leave.
What do you call those birds that fly from tree to tree...
Searching for, invading and upsetting other bird's carefully arranged nests ...
Stealing their unhatched eggs...
Robbing the nest, so to speak?
And once the damage has been done,
He simply flies away
And does it all over again to the next couple of victim lovebirds?
There's a name for this type of predator...
But I refuse to sully mon "bel exutoire"
